Artist’s Statement
Working in a semi-abstract style I emphasize the unique compositions of
figurative and landscape
imagery disclosing the inner voice and patterns
of nature. Studying organic forms provides an element
of surprise each
time I sketch a scene or a model. Extending the unexpected, I provide subtle
hints,
granting the viewer creativity in developing their
own story.
